Like a slap in the face, there are groups in which, at first listen, subtlety is conspicuous by its absence. Because if you listen to his music in a superficial way, you will probably relate it to the sound of a stampede of rhinos in the African savannah; runaway, chaotic, dusty, stabbing and crushing. Probably the Valencians Betunizer are satisfied with that assessment, since it is clear that they have not come to this world to make life easy for anyone, or to pamper our lives, or to enthrall us with their delicacy. What they may not even know is that the care with which they take care of every detail turns them into jewelers disguised as sweepers. It is difficult to find drummers with a sense of order, detail and dynamics, as well as ferocity and noise, as pronounced as in the case of Marcos (known for his walks in Balano, Estrategia lo capto! or La Winning Horse Orchestra). Or bassists as technically ruthless and with as long a ride on their bass neck as Pablo. Or, finally, frontmen with Jose's skill with his schizoid guitar, as well as with that strength and viscerality, that extremely fine rudeness and that word spat out with such a left hand.

Betunizer begin their walks, perhaps representing a whole new generation of bands, from Joe K-Plan to Challenger or Margarita, lovers of disassembling and reconstructing the noise before giving it their particular personal speech. In the case of Betunizer, this origin is simply a starting point, since his proposal is much less thoughtful than a large part of his fifth classmates; deep down, Betunizer are much more faranduleros, informal, seekers of the soul of music, flow, boogie, duende, beyond complexity as a value in itself. Hence their special charisma and their good fortune, which at this point, and before having released any record reference, has led them to tour the entire peninsula and part of Europe in marathon tours of all sorts of gambling dens, slums, clubs and mansions of the most unknown underground. They will never make it easy for us, but great discoveries are never easily found just around the corner. And that's why they make you vibrate triple when you hit them.
